01 About POMOLY
Exploring Better Ways to Live Outdoors
POMOLY designs hot tents, wood stoves, and outdoor gear for a better way of living outdoors.
We started with hot tents and wood stoves, guided by a simple question: How can we help people stay outdoors longer, and live better while they are there?
We believe reliable shelter, the warmth of fire, and a space that feels truly your own can transform the outdoors from somewhere you briefly visit into somewhere worth staying.
This belief has shaped the way POMOLY understands outdoor living, and led to what we call Livable Camping—a way of bringing gear, space, and everyday life together more naturally, so that the time after you arrive becomes just as meaningful as the journey there.
Today, we continue to design products around this idea while exploring how they can work together to create a more complete Basecamp. To POMOLY, a Basecamp is more than a place to pitch a tent. It is an outdoor space that can hold your time, your routines, and your memories.
This is what POMOLY is focused on today.

02 About the POMOLY Team
Experience Shapes Ideas. Design Makes Them Real.
Behind POMOLY is a team with diverse outdoor experiences and professional expertise. Some of us have more than 12 years of backpacking experience, exploring mountains and remote environments. Others have spent more than seven years camping through cold temperatures, strong winds, heavy snow, and other demanding conditions. Some know the outdoors through car camping, RV travel, and weekends spent outside with family and friends.
These different experiences give us different perspectives on why people go outdoors and what they actually need when they get there.
That is why everyone on our team takes part in product discussions, field testing, and sharing firsthand feedback. Before a product is released, we take it into real camping environments and use it repeatedly, testing the design across different conditions and everyday situations.
Some of us focus on reliability in demanding environments. Others pay closer attention to everyday convenience, while others consider comfort during family trips, social gatherings, and longer stays outdoors. These different experiences and perspectives shape the way we design and improve our products.
Experience shapes ideas. Design makes them real.
Beyond our outdoor experience, our team brings expertise in product design, development, marketing, and customer service. Throughout the product process, we also work closely with experienced independent designers, prototyping teams, manufacturing partners, and distribution partners—from early design and development through production and into the hands of our customers.
This is how we work at POMOLY: we start with real experience, discover problems through real use, bring different perspectives into the design process, and turn ideas into products people can actually rely on outdoors.
03 The POMOLY Journey
From Gear to a Deeper Understanding of Outdoor Living
POMOLY began with hot tents and wood stoves. As we continued to design, use, and refine our products, our understanding of outdoor living gradually expanded—from individual pieces of gear to the relationship between gear, space, and the way people live outdoors.
From Gear to Hot Tenting System
Shelter. Fire. Living.
In the beginning, our focus was on individual pieces of outdoor gear designed to solve real problems. As our hot tents and wood stoves evolved, we began thinking more about how these products could work together as a complete system. This led us toward the Hot Tenting System—where the tent provides shelter, the stove brings warmth, and different pieces of gear come together to create a more complete outdoor experience.
From Hot Tenting System to Livable Camping
From a Gear System to an Outdoor Experience
As we paid closer attention to how people use their gear, make use of their space, and spend their time after arriving at camp, our focus began to move beyond the gear itself and toward the overall outdoor experience. We realized that a better camping experience is not simply about having reliable equipment. It is also about how naturally the gear, the space, and the way people use them come together.
We call this approach Livable Camping. It is not a new type of camping or a fixed product category. It is simply a way of thinking about outdoor living—starting with real situations and creating a more natural relationship between gear, space, and the way people spend time outdoors.
From Livable Camping to Livable Basecamp
From an Outdoor Experience to an Outdoor Space
As we began paying more attention to how people spend time at camp, we also began thinking more deeply about the spaces they create around that experience. Basecamp became an increasingly important concept in the way POMOLY understands outdoor living.
We believe a Basecamp should be more than a place to set up camp. It should be a space where you can stay warm, rest, cook, gather, and spend time at your own pace.
We call this a Livable Basecamp.
From Livable Basecamp to Outdoor Home
When a Space Starts to Feel Like Home
When a Basecamp is used again and again, it gradually becomes familiar. It begins to hold your routines, your everyday moments, and your memories. It becomes more than a temporary outdoor space and begins to develop a sense of warmth, familiarity, and belonging.
This is what we mean by Outdoor Home.
POMOLY's journey is therefore not simply about expanding into new product categories. It is about going deeper in our understanding of what it means to live outdoors:
From Equipment.
To Hot Tenting System.
To Livable Camping.
To Livable Basecamp.
To Outdoor Home.
04 The POMOLY Approach
What We Believe, and How We Work
Our Position
Livable Camping as Our Way of Thinking. Basecamp as Our Direction.
POMOLY began with hot tents and wood stoves. Today, our work extends beyond individual pieces of gear into a broader exploration of outdoor experiences, spaces, and the way people live outdoors.
At the center of this approach is Livable Camping. It is not a new type of camping or a fixed product category. It is the way POMOLY approaches outdoor living—starting with real situations and bringing gear, space, and the way people live together more naturally, so people can stay outdoors longer and live better while they are there.
From this foundation, we continue to explore Basecamp and the possibilities an outdoor space can offer.
Our Philosophy
Shelter. Fire. Living.
POMOLY's understanding of outdoor living begins with three fundamental elements: Shelter, Fire, and Living.
Shelter provides protection from wind, rain, cold, and the elements. Fire brings warmth and becomes a natural center for cooking, resting, and gathering. Living is what happens when these elements come together and people begin to spend time outdoors in their own way, at their own pace.
Together, these three elements form the foundation of how POMOLY understands outdoor living. They continue to influence the way we design our products, spaces, and experiences.
Our Mission
Help More People Live Better Outdoors
POMOLY exists to make it easier for more people to spend meaningful time in nature—to stay longer, feel more comfortable, and experience the outdoors with fewer barriers.
We start with reliable, practical gear and continue to explore how products can work together with space and the way people live.
Starting with a tent and a fire, we want to help more people discover that the outdoors is not simply somewhere you can go. It can also be somewhere you can live.
Our Commitment
Designed for Real Outdoor Living
We believe truly reliable gear must stand up to real environments and long-term use.
That is why we start with real outdoor needs and pay close attention to materials, construction, performance, protection, comfort, and the way different products work together.
We do not add features simply for the sake of adding more. And we do not chase specifications at the expense of the experience.
We design gear that works in the real world, earns your trust, and becomes part of the way you live outdoors.
Our Belief
The Outdoors Can Be More Than a Destination. It Can Be a Way of Life.
We believe the outdoors is more than somewhere to briefly escape everyday life. It can also be a place to stay, explore, gather, rest, and spend time at your own pace.
A meaningful outdoor experience does not always mean going farther or taking on more extreme conditions. Sometimes, having a space that truly feels like your own is enough to slow down, notice your surroundings, and reconnect with the things that matter.
This is why POMOLY continues to explore Outdoor Living.
We are not trying to bring home into the wilderness. We want to help more people discover their own way of living in nature.
Our Slogan
Forge Basecamp, Make It Home.
To POMOLY, Forge means more than building. It represents the process of shaping, refining, and improving something through real experience and continued use.
Forge Basecamp is how we approach creating outdoor spaces.
Make It Home speaks to something deeper. When a space is used again and again, it begins to hold your routines, choices, and memories. Over time, it develops its own sense of warmth and belonging.
Forge Basecamp, Make It Home.
This is how POMOLY expresses its vision of outdoor living.
05 Where POMOLY Is Going
From Outdoor Gear to More Possibilities for Living Outdoors
POMOLY began with a tent and a wood stove. Along the way, we moved from individual pieces of gear toward systems, experiences, spaces, and a deeper understanding of how people spend their time outdoors.
And the journey is far from over.
Looking ahead, we will continue to start with real outdoor needs and explore new possibilities at the intersection of products, spaces, and the way people live outdoors.
We do not simply want to create better gear. We want to give people more ways to experience nature—to stay, explore, rest, gather, and spend time outdoors in their own way.
This is what POMOLY is exploring through Outdoor Living.
We believe the outdoors is more than a destination.
It can also become part of the way we live.
