I orders a new stove pipe for my Pomoly Timber stove which I have been using for a few years. When I got to the Brecon Beacons for a winter camp over Christmas I discovered that the new pipe no longer fits onto the outside of the Chimney base. I double checked the pipe dimensions before buying and all looked ok. Luckily I had the old base section of pipe with me to connect to the stove. But because everything has been inverted from the previous design the only way I could attach the spark arrestor section was to cut and wedge the previous section of pipe and wedge it into the arrestor section. Without doing this I was going to be very cold, so had no option. Luckily the workaround stayed together.
On revisiting the page for the pipe I can see that it states in very small print underneath the item details that the new pipe no longer comes with a bottom section. But without a new chimney base there's no way to fit it to my stove. This wasn't entirely clear and so its quite annoying to have to mangle the new pipe to use it with my stove having paid $150 for it.
I would appreciate if someone can get back to me on providing a replacement chimney base so I can continue to use this with my stove properly and a replacement section of pipe for the one I had to damage. Many Thanks Paul
