This is my second POMOLY hot tent (the first being the Manta) and the Chalet 70 Pro did not disappoint. It's very versatile and fills the niche between larger, heavyweight models and the low profile Stovehut and Locomotive. The materials, fit and finish are all quality. It is definitely rainproof. Mine withstood 3 days of heavy rain, 35 mph winds, followed by ice and snow with no moisture ingress anywhere.
There is space for two in the Chalet 70 Pro, but with a stove, chair and gear its more practical for one person. The mesh doors and side zipper give you plenty of air flow. I did have some condensation in the mornings, but it was minimal. The tent pegs are heavy duty and longer than most, but POMOLY does not include enough stakes to accommodate the stake out points on both long side of the tent or the loops at the base of the solid door panels. (see photos) There are also loops at the center point on the door ends. But without instructions, it's unclear whether those are meant to harness and stabilize the poles or accommodate a low profile stake to further stabilize the bathtub floor. (??)
If I might make a few suggestions to POMOLY, they would be:
Please include the proper number of stakes needed to pitch the tent correctly.
Please include simple set up instructions (I had to figure out on my own that the support poles are to be placed between the mesh and solid door panels so the doors can be pulled out taut to withstand wind and divert rain. Not rocket science, but would have been nice to know ahead of time.)
Please consider adding guy out points to the long sloped sides of the tent to reduce flapping of the fabric in windy conditions.
Overall, I am extremely happy with this tent and plan to use it year round.

So far great tent! Gets warm quick. With the stove I have have to get up every 4hrs to put more wood in. Great 1 person tent maybe do two if u are good being snuggled up. Rained and snowed and no leaks

The tent is very comfortable for 2 people with room leftover for gear. It's not too heavy to backpack but adding a stove to keep warm in cold weather would be a challenge unless you are able to drive to a campsite and set it up. I'm happy with the tent and the Winnerwell stove I use with it. Just be sure to plan ahead and you'll enjoy it even more.
