I would only change a few things.:
1. We have seen the center pole snap on two of them when the wind gets above 30mph. Wyoming winds like to destroy tents. :)
2. It would be nice to have multiple loops on the inside walls to hang items off of.
3. The hat is un-needed. The Bromance 70 does fine without it.
4. An integral inner tent option would be nice. In Colorado and Wyoming it is must to keep out mice and snakes. The current option just adds to setup time.
Overall though I love the tent and you can't go wrong with it.
Pomoly has fantastic customer service.
I’ve had concerns about the tent stakes that came with the tent. I feel that the stakes are too small and perhaps not strong enough for a large tent like the Hex Plus.
On my last trip I had to pitch the tent on icy/ hard ground. Several of the stakes bent or broke and I had to use guy line and rocks on most of the stake out points to have a successful tent set up as well as feeling safe to use my stove.
I reached out to Pomoly, sent a picture of the broken/bent stakes and without question they replaced the stakes with a bag of extremely heavy duty nail type stakes.
They are friendly and respond within 1-3 days to emails. Much appreciated.
I plan on using Pomoly for future purchases.
I also have the small Hussar hot tent and it is a fantastic shelter as well. I plan on using these hot tents for years to come.
I originally ordered the “hex 2-4 man” tent but found that with my body size “6’3” 270lbs” maneuvering in and out of the tent while running the wood stove was a bit difficult. This is no fault of the tent as I later ordered the “hex plus” tent and its perfect.
The material is good quality and design is very well thought out. Just note if you are tall and wide in the chest shoulder area buy the right one the first time and get the hex plus.
Tent material seems to be very durable and the inner reflective surface is quite effective even without a stove. Used the tent for one night so far in approximatly 50deg F weather and it was hot inside.. sweating had to lay on top of sleeping bag. Obviously this is not cold conditions but I feel like you could sleep even without a stove in freezing conditions with this setup, add the stove and likely no limit to how cold you can camp with this thing. I was also quite happy with the carry bag that is included, it had ample room for the tent and pole even after my crappy folding job (how the hell do those factory workers get such a tight fold lol!) A couple of things I would like to see for future renditions would be add a steak out pocket to the entry side of the inner tent, this would allow for one handed operation of the door zipper, also a midway tie point on both ridges of the inner to tie it to the teepee walls, this would hold the ridges out and create a larger feeling space inside the inner tent. I would also like to see shock cord at the ridge tie out locations for the teepee itself instead of paracord, I feel like this would save the tent from damage in windy conditions (this one I can add myself and is really no big deal)
Overall I'm pretty happy with the tent and cant wait for my stove to show up to pair up with this thing!

I love my Pomoly tents! The quality and teepee style is perfect for me. I do have a couple of suggestion that I think would enhance your tent teepee products. I have to use a step ladder to install the caps. I believe it would be easier to setup if the cone shock cords were longer and the attachments were lowered down the sides. Do you have a groundsheet for the Hex Plus? I have one for the hex and really enjoy using it. If it comes available for the Hex Plus I would like to buy one. Thanks again for your wonderful tents and best wishes for all your future products.
Very glad you like it!
We can make groundsheet for HEX plus, we dont't upload it.
we can produce it for you if you want.
Is Great. Fast replies to my emails. Has always answered
my questions. Im Happy with my Hex +
