1.Review from Customer "Andra A":

"The Jetboil MicroMo is my go-to stove for solo cooking. The flame can be adjusted, but I only ever use it to boil water. The capacity is perfect for breakfast + coffee, or dinner, and it comes to a boil before you know it.
The integrated system is very stable, and it works well in most conditions with minimal wind protection.
A few minor gripes: why can't Jetboil engineer a lid that will stay secure when the burner and fuel are stowed inside? This should be a no-brainer. Also, the "cup" that covers the bottom of the stove when stowed is flimsy, and too tiny to be useful. I do appreciate that Jetboil replaced it for me when mine cracked and wouldn't stay attached - it protects the stove so I do use it for that.
After years of use I thought it might be time for an upgrade, but after looking around at Jetboil and other brands, I realized the MicroMo is still exactly what I want and need. I'll keep using it as long as I can!"

2.Review from Customer "burtonbc":

"I've used other liquid gas units for years and been very happy with them, but always admired the jetboil modular design. I finally decided to buy one and, was excited to pull it out of the box when I received it. Everything was pretty much what I expected until I packed it up and the silly lid that comes with it wouldn't stay fixed on top of the cup. The lid's fit is so loose in fact that if you turn it upside down everything will fall right out of it. So if you toss it in the back of your car, floor board or otherwise, you'll get a nice little yard sale of components. It seems to me that when the unit is packed up for transport it should stay that way. Functionally, for heating water and cooking it's good. The modular design is good. The lid.... that was a fumble in my opinion. I had to wrap the unit with an elastic band and velcro closure to hold it together (this shouldn't be necessary). I would recommend this unit, but with the caveat of the fiddly lid."

3.Review from Customer "Steve M":

"I'd used a friend's non-regulated Jetboil on some other trips, so thought I'd give this a go for a 5 day canoe trip in the BWCA. For morning drinks and freeze dried meals boil time was under 2 minutes which is what I expected out of it. Where it really shined was when it was time to fry some walleye fillets and hasbrowns. The regulator and fry pan stand worked great together. Temp control was perfect and the non-Jetboil fry pan I'd brought with was plenty stable. My only regret is having waited so long to upgrade!"

4.Review from Customer "Max B":

"It’s a good little stove and boils water quickly and is easily adjustable to simmer which is the biggest difference between it and more simple jetboil products. Small click ignited worked in my garage but could not get it to work while on a recent three day backcountry trip even when completely sheltered from wind. I always have a couple lighters so it isn’t a big deal, but I could see it being very frustrating if you didn’t have one."

5.Review from Customer "JENNIFER":

"Boils super fast and hot. Almost... too hot. Burned my macaroni to the bottom first time out before I remembered that you can adjust the flame down. I recommend NOT cooking food your first time using it, learn it first, don’t eat charcoal noodles like I did. It’s not a favorable taste ??

Also, when showing your new toy off to your friends and bragging about the built in strainer in the lid, HOLD THE LID IN PLACE before turning your cup upside down, lest you watch your newly burned macaroni slide from the cup into the damp fire pit as you stand there helpless to stop it, like it’s little macaroni lives are flashing before your eyes. And being that is the only food you brought to make for your one night camp it before a trail race, you then are forced to consider picking individual noodles out of said fire pit and wiping them off when you dig out the lid, covered in ashy, cooling wet noodles. Don’t experience this heartbreak, just hold the edges of the lid in place. Trust me."

6.Review from Customer "Robert":

"A good setup, but mine is a Hybrid that predates the MicroMO by about year or two. I got a Zip in 2014 and then bought the MiniMo soon after. I used the MiniMo burner with the ZIP cup to keep for myself, and combined the MiniMo pot and Zip burner and sold it. I wanted the enhanced burner smaller pot. Jetboil came out with the Micromo a year or so later. Anyway, I used it making tea, coffee and oatmeal while traveling and working away from home. I used it on some hiking trips to see how it worked outside. And used it on a winter backpack/mountaineering trip on Mt. Whitney and a backcountry ski hut trip in the Sierra Nevada. It never failed and I have used it probably a hundred times or more. I have also used it on some ski trips in Washington State. It gets great fuel economy. One thing, I don't use it full power/cranked all the way up. It is not necessary and is more fuel conscious of one doesn't."

7.Review from Customer "Ethan S":

"I had heard about Jetboil cooking systems for a while, and even seen others use them before I finally went in on this. I opted for the micro mo and have enjoyed the compact footprint, which has allowed to take it backpacking, hunting, or even to class for making a quick ramen snack. I highly recommend this if you’re cooking for 1-2 and want a small, lightweight system."

8.Review from Customer "ONION":

"I own the original jet boil. Have used it many times for many years, including my sons. The MicroMo is about an inch and a half shorter, same diameter, holds .8 liter. I use no more than 8 ounces at a time for coffee, hot water to keep my camel back from freezing, Mountain House food, back up fire source in the Rocky Mountains down to as low as 10* F. The MicroMo is very light weight, durable, and reliable. The cup holds 100 gram fuel can, flame housing group, fuel can support legs inside. It fits my needs, however....the lid does NOT clamp down tightly like the original. It's enough to stay put but not secure. My only complaint."

9.Review from Customer "HikerMike":

"This is the same as the Sol, just renamed. And, it makes a difference how you pack your components into it or the lid will not close properly. Other (1 Liter) systems have way more space, but the 0.8 Liter systems are tight. You HAVE to put the support legs in first and FLAT side DOWN, then the burner right side up, then 100g gas. Believe it or not you even fit a pot support ring around the gas. Then, be sure to center the gas in the center of the lid,and it will close. I have two 0.8 Liter systems and it took me a little while to realize this. But, now they both have everything ready to go. The support feet going in first and flat side down is CRITICAL to getting everything in there, but it will fit and the lid will close properly. -Love these systems"

10.Review from Customer "Jim E":

"I have been so impressed with how quickly this boils water (which is what I bought it for). I can boil enough to hydrate a meal and have a cup of coffee ready before the food is. Best part is that it fits so well in my daypack and hunting pack that I don't mind carrying it. A hot meal or drink is great as it gets colder in the woods."

Conclusion:

After considering numerous reviews, the Jetboil MicroMo consistently proves to be an outstanding choice for backpackers and campers seeking a lightweight, efficient, and reliable cooking solution. Users frequently praise the Jetboil MicroMo for its quick setup, durability, and exceptional fuel economy—key qualities that make the Jetboil MicroMo one of the top portable stoves on the market. For those who are interested in exploring other high-quality brands, POMOLY also offers an excellent range of camping stoves, known for durability and innovation.
