1.Review from Customer "Zzyzzybaluba":
"I bought two of these stash. Cook sets one for myself and one for my sister. My sister had experienced a really bad storm in DFW without power so I sent her one of these so she could make lentils and rice. It came in clutch!
The second use case I have for it is… I feed my dog, the honest kitchen brand food, which is basically freeze dried human grade, but in powder form. You basically mix it up with hot water and make a nice thick porridge. I keep one in my truck so that I could quickly heat up or barely warm up the water to make a hot meal for my coco pup basically anywhere we are!
Plug: i also own the 3 other JetBoils. The Genesis full system, micro mo and mini mo. Took the mini mo to Banff and made the Food-for-sole brand meals. It was amazing to have it take care of 6 people using it taking turns. We had our food and a gallon of water. Spent the entire day at lake lousie and kept everyone nourished.
They all have a place in our camp setup."
2.Review from Customer "Colorado Hiker":
"All the complaints about this stove are amusing. This is a stripped down Jetboil, designed to be as light as possible. Ignition: You carry a mini Bic anyway so why add one to the stove? Locking handles: Aren’t you careful with boiling water? Lid: I’m not tipping my cook pot upside down, maybe put a thumb on the lid when you pour?
This is an awesome fuel efficient stove for locations where you can’t use an alcohol stove (and you don’t want to cold soak). I’ve made a small canister last for 7 days with twice daily boils. Keep your canister in your quilt overnight, use a supplemental windscreen (like a sit pad), and don’t keep the heat on for a rolling boil. All good. I love this stove when alcohol and solid fuel stoves can’t be used."

"We spent 2 nights backpacking with my brother-in-law's family - 5 meals plus a hefty amount of coffee. He had his white gas tank and it died during lunch the second day. That meant that this little Stash (with one canister) needed to work for 4 people the first night and morning, then 9 people for 3 meals - and it delivered! The compact and light design made it extremely easy to pack and the quick setup was extremely easy. We used a firebiner to light after a few tries, and a lighter would make it even easier. My BIL was so impressed, he went out and bought one for a week long canoe trip in Algonquin 2 weeks later. We still have gas leftover to use on our next trip, but maybe we will get a full tank, just in case ;)"

"Seems to be a solid piece of equipment, I considered purchasing one last year before a 231 mile trip, but decided to use my pocket rocket II and toaks 650 light pot instead. I think this will be great for week long or less trips, as I can get 16 days from a 220 g canister with the pocket rocket, and the 110 g canister that fits in this should last at least 8 days. I only do freezer bag meals, so I’m just boiling water, not cooking. I probably wouldn’t have paid full price for it, but with a 20% off coupon and using my rewards it was very reasonable. I haven’t actually used it yet, and I intend to do some comparison testing before I take it to the trails, but I think it will save enough fuel to make using it on most trips worthwhile. It’s actually a bit larger than my current setup, but only because the pot is bigger. Of course, it’s a bit heavier but if I can save fuel it’s probably nearly the same weight or less for week long trips. I’m looking forward to real world testing to see if it meets my expectations."
5.Review from Customer "Jason B":
"I have an old MSR that has been great and always works well but wanted to see how the stash held up to it. The Stash is slightly bigger but comparable in size. It definitely beat the MSR in performance. Boiled the same amount of water in half the time, using a variety of fuel sources. It is also more stable when on the burner which is reassuring. I’ve never done it, but the MSR always made me a little nervous because it just sits on top. I love my MSR because it’s been with me for a while, but The Stash is definitely my new go to! Highly recommend!"
6.Review from Customer "Bart C":
"This stove is great! Love how it packs so small and easy to use. At 6500 ft elevation it would boil is less than a minute. Having the canister fit inside is great and makes is take up that much less room in my pack. Can't beat the weight!
I used this for both backpacking and for hunting!
The one down side is that the lid doesn't snap on a tight as I would have liked and it does come off when pouring water from the pour spout. To keep the lid from falling off I would just put a little pressure on the lid while pouring. Other than that its a great ultralight option! Can't recommend it enough!"
7.Review from Customer "Jackie Z":
"I enjoy making coffee with my aeropress. With the jetboil stash im able to take my aeropress with me and make an amazing cup of coffee in only a few minutes wherever I choose whether that be at a campsite or the top of a mountain. In addition to the ability to make my coffee when I go hiking, the stash also allows me to boil water for freeze dried meals when I’m on particularly longer hikes. It condenses into a small footprint which allows for compact storage in a rucksack as well as organization as all its contents are contained in the vessel itself."
8.Review from Customer "Ahoward":
"I am a new jet boil user. I've been packing with MSR Whisperlite Universal for a while now, I wanted to get some thing that came with an integrated pot. The stash so far has worked great, and cooks very well with the summit skillet. I don't mind not having a built-in igniter. None of my packing stoves have ever had one, and carrying a lighter doesn't add any weight that is noticeable to anybody's pack. Plus, built in igniters sometimes were out, causing you to need a back up lighter in case of a failed ignition. I am curious to see how it does in wins, as it is fairly lightweight. However if you have a good windscreen, bringing one with you would be a good idea in case of unexpected winds. So far I've enjoyed taking this with me on day trips to cook things like veggies and bratwurst for 2 people. Haven't had an issue! Recommend playing around with learning how to regulate the flame at home before getting out on the trail. Overall is an extremely quality stove, and I'm impressed with my first Jetboil product. I think the biggest con is definitely the price, so if that is something that turns you off from buying it there are probably more budget friendly options out there that perform just as well."
9.Review from Customer "Christopher K":
"Let me start by saying I have been using Jetboil Products since before they hit the retail floor- I had a shop demo PCS in my store before they shipped their first retail units. Since then, I have owned the PCS, 1.5L pot, a Flash, 2 Genesises, a Luna side Burner, a Sumo, and a Minimo. I have also used or owned everything from a Svea 123 to an XGK to catfood stoves. Been there, done that. If what you want is to boil water for 1 or 2 people quickly and efficiently in a 3 season setting- look no further. I hope they expand this design to include a 1L and 2.5L vessel. But in the meantime, this is my favorite backpacking setup ever for just-add-water meals for 1-2 people."
10.Review from Customer "Darren B.":
"I'm making the switch from a Flash to the Stash. I really prefer the shape of the Stash over the Flash as it seems easier to fit into my pack. Boil time is noticeably longer with the Stash, buy waiting one extra minute for your water to boil is a small price to pay for increased fuel efficiency, lower weight and better packability. Overall I'm very pleased with the purchase!"
