Still going strong after 3 years

I’ve owned and used the Pomoly Oroqen Mini for around three years now, so I’ve had plenty of time to use it properly rather than just judging it from a first burn.

It has become one of my favourite pieces of equipment for hot tent camping. Despite the “Mini” name, it puts out an impressive amount of heat and has been more than capable of keeping my smaller hot tents comfortable on colder camps.

Its construction has held up extremely well. Mine has obviously developed the usual signs of being used over the years, but after plenty of burns it is still solid and functioning exactly as it should.

The removable side tables are useful for cooking and keeping things close to hand, and the ash drawer makes cleaning it out considerably easier.

It isn’t an ultralight stove, and at around 6.7kg there are obviously much lighter titanium options if weight is your main priority but the type of camping I use it for, I’m extremely happy with that, for the solid construction, ease of use and durability.

After around three years of ownership I’m still very happy with it and would happily recommend the Oroqen Mini to anyone looking for a compact stove for hot-tent camping.

I’ve also made a full long-term video review showing my Oroqen Mini and talking through my experience with it here:
