The LEO 2 is a lightweight 2-person hot tent designed for use with a wood stove, offering a versatile shelter for year-round camping adventures.
The freestanding structure and integrated stove jack provide flexible stove configurations, making the tent suitable for a variety of camping styles and environments.
The oversized stove jack is compatible with all POMOLY stoves as well as most portable wood stoves, offering greater flexibility when choosing your heating system.
The side door can be supported with poles to create a convenient awning, providing additional shade, shelter, and easy access to the tent.
Constructed from 40D ripstop silnylon with a 3,000 mm PU waterproof coating, the LEO 2 delivers lightweight performance with reliable protection against the elements.
The inner tent features three dual-layer doors, each combining a solid fabric panel with a no-see-um mesh panel to provide excellent ventilation while keeping insects out.
Designed with an efficient ventilation system, the LEO 2 promotes continuous airflow to help reduce condensation and maintain a comfortable interior environment in a wide range of weather conditions.

POMOLY LEO 2

The upgraded stove jack is compatible with most portable wood stoves. A waterproof flap on the exterior helps improve rain protection when the stove jack is not in use.

The side door of the outer tent can be propped up with trekking poles to create a convenient canopy and provide additional shelter.

All three inner tent doors feature a double-layer design, with no-see-um mesh on all doors and vents for ventilation and insect protection.

All seams are treated with waterproof seam taping to provide reliable protection against rain and snow.

Oversized Stove Jack System

The oversized stove jack is designed to accommodate a wide range of wood stoves, fitting chimney diameters up to 4 in (10 cm). The integrated design creates a cleaner and more streamlined tent surface, while a triangular storm flap with waterproof coverage fully seals the stove jack when not in use. Side flaps help prevent rainwater from entering the zipper area, improving overall weather protection.

Four-Door Design

The outer tent of the LEO 2 features a four-door layout, with each entrance equipped with dual YKK zippers for flexible access and ventilation control.

Each door supports multiple configurations:
Awning Mode: Supported with trekking poles or sticks to create a sheltered canopy.
Ventilation Mode: Partially opened from the top to improve airflow and reduce condensation.
Full Ventilation Mode: Doors can be fully stowed into the rear pocket for maximum airflow and openness.

This multi-functional design allows the tent to adapt easily to changing weather and camping needs.

Removable Inner Tent

The inner tent features a front door and two side doors, each equipped with a dual-layer design consisting of a solid fabric panel and a mesh panel.

When both the inner and outer fabric doors are opened, the tent transforms into a near full-mesh shelter, delivering 360-degree airflow and panoramic ventilation. This makes the LEO 2 highly suitable for warm-weather use while maintaining excellent versatility across all seasons.

How to Properly Use a Stove Jack

These tips can help ensure safer and more efficient stove jack use:

1. Roll Up and Secure the Stove Jack Cover
Roll up the stove jack cover and secure it in place. Do not allow the cover fabric to come into contact with the hot stovepipe.

Common hot tent fabrics, such as our 300D Oxford fabric, cannot withstand the extreme temperatures generated by a stovepipe. Always keep the cover fabric away from the hot pipe.

2. Keep the Stovepipe Centered in the Stove Jack
Adjust the stove position to keep the stovepipe centered inside the stove jack opening. Make sure the stovepipe does not touch any tent fabric.

3. Use Branches as a Barrier When Needed
If it is difficult to prevent the stovepipe from contacting the tent fabric by adjusting the stove position, you can use branches or other heat-resistant barriers to create separation.

4. Keep the Tent Stable
After positioning the stovepipe in the center of the stove jack, make sure the hot tent remains stable. Excessive movement may cause the hot stovepipe to contact the tent fabric.

Keeping the stove jack properly positioned helps extend its service life and improves safety during use.

Important Safety Note
The stove jack fabric is heat-resistant, but the stitching thread is not designed to withstand direct contact with high temperatures.

If the tent fabric is positioned too close to the hot stovepipe, the stitching thread may melt or burn, potentially causing damage to the tent.

Tent Care Instructions

Regular care of your POMOLY tent helps maintain its performance and extend its lifespan. Follow these basic cleaning and maintenance guidelines to keep your tent in optimal condition.

1. Remove Dirt and Debris
Use a soft brush to gently remove dirt from the tent surface, including the snow skirt, ground sheet, and inner tent.

2. Use Mild Detergent
Clean the tent with a mild, neutral detergent when necessary. Avoid using harsh chemicals that may damage the fabric or waterproof coating.

3. Clean the Zippers
Use soapy water to gently clean the zipper areas and remove dirt or debris.

4. Do Not Machine Wash
Never machine wash your tent, as this may damage the waterproof coating and seam sealing.

5. Avoid Abrasive Cleaning
Do not use hard brushes or abrasive materials to scrub the tent. This may damage the outer waterproof coating and reduce water resistance.

6. Check Attachment Points Regularly
Regularly inspect the guy line attachment points and stitching areas. If any stitching damage is found, repair it promptly and apply tent seam sealer when needed.

7. Dry Completely Before Storage
Before storing your tent, make sure it is completely clean and fully dry with no remaining moisture.

A dry and clean tent helps prevent mildew growth and keeps your hot tent ready for your next adventure.

Finally got out with the Leo 2 for a hot tent adventure. Had it out in -18C with a ton of snow. Windchill as high as -27C. It’s a very nice design and well made. It withstood high winds without an issue. I was overall extremely pleased with it. The vestibule housed my Pomoly Ti 0.6 Mini Titanium stove and firewood comfortably still giving me plenty of room to move within the vestibule and to cook. The inner tent is of a very good size and accommodated my cot, air mattress, sleeping bag, rucksack and other gear easily and provided good comfort. Ventilation was perfect and I saw no condensation within the tent whatsoever. I used a StoveHut ground sheet and fire mat which was about a 90-95% fit for the Leo 2. The Mini Titanium stove was outstanding and kept the tent at a very comfortable +20C throughout the night. The stove was easy to setup and to control the fire.

Ordered on 20th Dec, received 23rd Dec, No extra tax.. what you see is what you pay at checkout for UK. Tent looks great, lots of room for my gear and I’m looking forward to using this hot tent in January. For its price, I would say one of the best hot tents out there.

I recently used this tent combined with the T1 Mini stove for a two week hunt in Southeast Alaska in October. October in SE Alaska is the wet season in a rainforest. Which means it rains, a lot. It rained well over a foot of rain the two weeks we were out.

This tent and stove saved our trip. We were able to dry gloves, base layers, hats, and ourselves. The tent was waterproof, easy to get in and out of while running the stove, yet still keeping our the rain. Very very good tent.

I have three small changes I would make for this climate.

1) I wish the poles for the outer tent clipped on instead the threaded through a sleeve. Threading the poles in extreme humidity is difficult and frustrating.

2) I wonder if another vent on the top of the outer tent is possible. When drying out, the inside can get quite humid and lead to condensation.

3) A few more mesh pockets on the inner tent would be handy.

Those are ridiculously small criticisms for how well this tent performed in extremely wet/cold conditions.

I’ve seen the product on youtube, and it looks great. I haven’t received it yet, just ordered it. But the ordering process kind of sucked. I put in a credit card, but then when I went to check out, the only option it gave me was PayPal. Wasn’t really happy about that. Not sure why PayPal was the only option at checkout. But I’m excited about the product , it’s one of the tents that Lonewolf 902 uses, and it looks like a nice one. We’ll see how it goes.

Love this stove tent, so much room and a perfect sized vestibule for the stove and wood Storage.
The bedroom area is a great size to. Head toom and loads of room for kit etc. plenty of ventilation.
The only and it is my only negative thought are the poles, they were a little awkward to fix to the tent, I got there eventually, I found putting the poles through the tent while it was flat on the ground was the best way!
Cant wait to use this tent through the summer too with all the openings for those early sunrises! Great colour tent and altogether a very well thought out designed tent.

Where to start, the LEO 2 was my first Pomoly tent. I subsequently ordered the Locomotive 20 and am waiting on the Dome X4 to ship. I’ve set up and slept in both tents. Today my 4th Pomoly stove was delivered, the Dweller Ti. I also have the Traveller, Oroqen and the Dweller Max 2.0. Each stove serves a different purpose and does it exceptionally. These stoves throw some serious heat!
I researched stoves and hot tents for a very long time. I found Pomoly to be the best out there in terms of quality and build. The stoves have amazing technology with the air curtain, multiple draft systems, secondary air intake and the elevated bottom for ash. I recommend Pomoly if you desire a quality tent and a boss stove. Attached are pictures of the LEO 2 and the Dweller Max 2.0
