GT Mini Ultralight Fastfold Titanium Stove

POMOLY GT Mini ultralight fastfold titanium stove product real shot

The GT Mini is an ultralight fastfold titanium wood stove for solo camping, backpacking, and lightweight hot tent camping. Its classic box-style firebox holds 9.5 L of firewood, the adjustable front-door air intake lets you control airflow and burn rate, and the heat-resistant glass window gives you a clear view of the fire without opening the door. Built from 0.6 mm-thick Grade 1 (TA1) titanium with about 99.6% titanium content, it pairs durability and corrosion resistance with a lightweight 3.1 lb (1.4 kg) body. A precision hidden hinge system ensures a closer fit, while the reinforced top plate and base plate improve rigidity and help reduce heat deformation. Four independent foldable legs keep it stable on uneven ground, the fastfold design makes setup and storage easy, and the complete kit includes a titanium roll-up stove pipe, adjustable and detachable titanium damper, SS304 spark arrestor, and cut-resistant gloves.

    05 — WOOD STOVE CARE

Care for Your POMOLY Wood Stove

    01
Allow the Stove to Cool Naturally
    • After use, always allow the stove to cool completely and naturally before cleaning or handling it.
    • Do not pour water over a hot stove to cool it down. Rapid cooling can cause thermal shock, which may deform or damage the metal.
    02
    Deformation

After prolonged exposure to high temperatures, slight warping or deformation of the stove body may occur.

    • If the deformation does not affect assembly or normal operation, the stove can continue to be used.
    • If deformation prevents the stove door from closing properly or the stove pipe sections from forming a secure connection, minor adjustments may be made with pliers or a similar tool.
    03
    Cleaning the Stove

    Metal Stove Body

Use a mild detergent with a soft cloth or sponge to gently clean the stove. Do not use abrasive cleaning powders or metal brushes, as they may scratch the surface finish.

    Glass

Clean the glass only after it has cooled completely. A damp, soft cloth lightly coated with fine ash from inside the firebox can be used to gently wipe the glass. This is an effective and gentle cleaning method. Avoid abrasive cleaners.

    Stove Pipe

Creosote produced by incomplete combustion of firewood can accumulate on the inside of the stove pipe. Remove the stove pipe and clean it with a dedicated chimney brush.

Burning damp firewood or maintaining a low-temperature, smoldering fire for extended periods can accelerate creosote buildup. Use properly seasoned firewood and intentionally maintain a high-temperature burn for 15–30 minutes during each use. This can help burn off a small amount of newly accumulated creosote.

If the stove pipe is not cleaned regularly, excessive creosote buildup may cause smoke to back up into the shelter, produce a strong tar-like odor, and reduce stove draft.

    Folding Components

Inspect the folding hinges, latches, and other moving components for sticking, looseness, or wear. If the components do not open or close smoothly, check whether deformation is causing the problem.

    • If there is minor deformation, carefully adjust the affected component by hand.
    • A small amount of high-temperature lubricant may also be applied where appropriate.
    • Do not use regular machine oil, as it may produce harmful fumes or burn when exposed to high temperatures.
    04
    Inspection & Maintenance
    • Natural Discoloration: Heat-related discoloration on the stove surface is normal and does not affect performance.
    • Inspect Before Use: Check the stove body for severe deformation and inspect the glass for cracks. If you find any damage or abnormality, stop using the stove and have it repaired as needed.
    • Check Fasteners: Inspect all screws and fasteners before use. Repeated heating and cooling cycles cause metal components to expand and contract, which can gradually loosen fasteners. Tighten them as needed before use.
    • Check Airflow & Damper Controls: Before use, make sure the air inlets on the stove door, the stove-pipe damper, and the ventilation openings at the lower sides of the stove operate smoothly.
    05
    Storage & Packing
    • Remove Ash: Remove all ash, remaining charcoal, and other residue from the stove. Small amounts of hot embers can remain hidden in the ash and may reignite when exposed to air. After cleaning, allow the stove to dry completely before storage.
    • Folding: Fold and pack the stove according to its intended folding configuration. Take care not to scratch the stove surface during folding.
    • Storage Environment: Avoid damp or high-temperature environments. Store the stove in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place. When storing the stove in its folded position, avoid placing heavy objects on top of it, as this may cause deformation.

Perfect size for my solo hot tent trips. It’s lightweight, easy to carry, and gives off more heat than I expected from such a compact stove.

One of my favorite backpacking stoves. It packs down small, heats efficiently, and the titanium construction feels premium.
