Freestanding Geodesic Dome Structure

POMOLY designed Barracuda 4 as a dome tent built on six crossing poles. Its curved sidewalls guide wind around the shell and distribute the load rather than fighting it, helping reduce the risk of bent poles or a flipped tent in strong gusts. Because the body is freestanding, it can be assembled without stakes at all—handy on rock, hard-packed ground, or a wooden platform where pegs simply won’t go in.

Spacious Family Camping Space

The tent measures 20.7 ft x 10.2 ft (6.3 x 3.1 m), with a 6.56 ft (200 cm) peak height. That interior comfortably fits four camp cots or sleeping setups, plus camp furniture and gear storage. Whether it’s a family trip or a group expedition, everyone gets room to move and room to sleep—which is the whole point of a family tent this size.

POMOLY's Dual Stove Jack Design

There is one stove jack on each side of the tent. That layout allows two wood stoves to burn at the same time when several people are camping—more heat, and more ways to use it. One stove for cooking, the other for coffee. It also means you can choose the side that works best with the wind, your sleeping arrangement, and your furniture layout, so the interior stays flexible instead of being locked into one configuration.

The stove jacks feature Velcro closures that seal them shut when not in use, while heat-resistant silicone provides reliable heat resistance and weather protection.

Innovative Rain-Proof Skylight

Barracuda 4 features a skylight with the mesh positioned outside the solid panel. The solid panel is sealed with zippers on all four sides and finished with waterproof seam taping. The advantage is simple: when rain starts, you don’t have to step outside and get soaked just to close the vent—you simply reach up and pull the zipper from inside the tent.

The skylight also brings in natural daylight and opens up the view overhead, so you can watch the sky, the ridgeline, and the landscape around you. Multiple vents throughout the tent keep air moving and help reduce condensation.

Front and Rear Dual Entry

This tent features one door at each end. Each door has a zipper on both sides, allowing the panel to roll up and secure at the top of the doorway when opened, creating a wider, more open passage. Open both doors at once, and air can flow straight through the tent, improving overall ventilation. The two entrances also make getting in and out easier, while giving you more flexibility when moving camping gear in and out.

Removable Inner Tents

This tent features a removable inner-tent system, with hooks connecting and securing the inner tents to the outer shell. The hook system makes setup and removal quick and easy. Choose the setup that fits your trip: two inner tents, one, or none at all. Want more room to move? Remove the inner tents and make full use of Barracuda 4’s spacious interior. Camping in a forest or grassland? Hang the inner tents to keep bugs out and make your time outdoors more comfortable.

40D Ripstop Silnylon with 3000 mm PU Coating

The outer shell uses 40D ripstop silnylon. The silicone coating enhances tear resistance, helping protect the fabric from snags and tears caused by branches during setup and everyday use—and ultimately helping extend the life of the shelter. On the inside, a 3000 mm PU coating creates a dense waterproof barrier that keeps rain from penetrating the fabric, providing dependable protection for the interior.

7001 Aluminum Poles & 7075 Aluminum Stakes

POMOLY uses 7001 aluminum alloy for its main poles and supplies the tent with a set of 7075 aluminum stakes. Both materials are lightweight, corrosion-resistant, resistant to breakage, and built for long-term durability. Choosing these two materials for the tent hardware is a small decision that says something about how the brand thinks about equipment.
